This study was based on a set of indicators selected from the COSA Methodology, with the means to compare changes in the socio-economic and environmental performance of producers participating in the UTZ Certified Program compared to those with conventional coffee. It focused on the analysis of the social, environmental and economic performance of the producers during the years 2008, 2009 and 2011, measured through a set of indicators that were constructed with information from three longitudinal surveys from a sample of 857 producers.
